Elisabeth Gerlach has already experienced a lot professionally. The 36-year-old completed training as an occupational therapist and as a retail clerk. She then worked in retail for eleven years until she joined edm in 2022 – “on a Wednesday”. A stroke of luck for Elisabeth Gerlach, as she has been in charge of incoming and outgoing goods at the company ever since. “My job was created especially for me,” she says. “Together with a colleague, I helped set up, design and structure the work area. This is my baby.”

She checks the incoming goods, checks all purchased parts from external companies for quality and correctness of delivery and then distributes them to the departments.

ENGAGEMENT PAYS OFF

“It never gets boring. And I love being able to have a quick chat with colleagues here and there as I walk through our large and bright halls.” The working atmosphere is very friendly and informal, “everyone knows everyone and everyone is on first-name terms”.
